Recently, Union Station welcomed the Boy’s Mass Choir, a free public event, to delight the public with angelic Christmas songs and send the passengers off with a little more hope in their hearts. Union Station’s year-round events help to bring the community into its regal walls, even to discover and explore its own secrets. That’s right, you can even sign up for a tour and see the behind-the-scenes history and glamour with family and friends. The diversity of the many crowds that walk through Union Station each day is a testament to the melting pot that is Los Angeles—perhaps a young woman entrepreneur off to an executive meeting,

or the wide-eyed looks of a four year old embarking on their first cross-country trip. The need to see the world in a way that promotes ease and convenience transcends racial, gender, age, or socio-economic status—all are welcome to catch a ride off into the sunset.

Union Station continues to innovate and improve—focusing on their aggressive LA Union Station Master Plan (LAUSMP). It was the vision of Metro that Union Station rise to the occasion and complement the ever growing sophistication of the Downtown Los Angeles that surrounds it. The Master Plan focuses on three phases: Transit Optimization (with a new multi-modal passenger course!), Destination (make Union Station a great place to visit!),
